The McGill Case Competition Association was formed with the mission of hosting a world-class professional case competition at McGill. This year’s themes, Strategy and Business Analytics, were chosen to reflect the surge in global data and increasing demand for skilled data analysts as firms around the world realize the benefits of utilizing actionable insights strategically from masses of data. We hope to enable top MBA students to showcase their skills in a competitive environment solving real business problems with innovative ideas.
In addition to organizing and hosting this case competition, the MCCA’s secondary mandate is to encourage participation in external case competitions, and promote competitions hosted by firms or other schools. Last year, we supported 10+ competitions in a wide variety of fields and locations, from Davos to Seattle and with sponsors such as Amazon and Desjardins. Our teams regularly placed in the Top Three in these competitions, which is an outstanding testament to the caliber of our students.
